Dr. Magdy S. Guirguis, DC
After focusing on biology and earning his bachelor’s degree in the subject at California State University, Northridge, Dr. Guirguis decided to go into the chiropractic field by attending Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles. He has been practicing Chiropractic medicine since his graduation from the school in 1988, but has also focused on the holistic arts.
He founded Advanced Chiropractic Center in 1991, and just eight years later, Arbor Vitae Wellness Center became his brainchild.
Dr. Guirguis had a dream of a one-stop holistic center for all of his patients, and by providing acupuncture, massage therapy, naturopathic medicine, and other alternative medicine treatments at Arbor Vitae, he has done just that. The doctor, however, isn’t just about work. He’s been playing volleyball for more than three decades and was even the coach of both high school and collegiate teams for several years. He also enjoys meditation, yoga, and rock climbing, to ensure that he keeps an active lifestyle.
In the past, Dr. Guirguis has been involved in volleyball by going on professional tours as a team chiropractor and serving for the Team in Training at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. If this wasn’t enough, the doctor has three children ranging from the ages of 13 to 19, practices yoga four days a week, and volunteers in the community, so there’s no doubt that he is always on his toes.
