What happens during a first visit with Dr. Magdy Guirguis?

Chiropractor consulting with a patient

If you've never been to a chiropractor — or your last experience felt rushed — a first visit can feel like a bit of an unknown. At Arbor Vitae Wellness, the goal is the opposite: no guesswork, no pressure, just a clear understanding of what's going on and a plan for feeling better. Here's what to expect.

1. We listen first

Your visit starts with a conversation. Dr. Magdy Guirguis reviews your health history, your symptoms, your lifestyle, and your goals — and takes the time to understand not just where it hurts, but how it's affecting your daily life. Any imaging or records you bring are reviewed here too.

2. A thorough exam

Next comes a hands-on evaluation. Using chiropractic assessment and applied kinesiology, Dr. Magdy Guirguis looks at how your muscles, joints, and nerves are working together to pinpoint the root cause of your pain — not just the spot where you feel it.

3. Your personalized care plan

Once there's a clear picture, Dr. Magdy Guirguis explains what he's found in plain language and walks you through a care plan built around your goals. That plan is drug-free and may combine chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, manual therapy and massage, and holistic support like supplements or lifestyle guidance.

A few things to know

  • Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
  • Bring any relevant imaging, records, or a list of medications.
  • Come with questions — this visit is as much about your understanding as ours.

No pressure, ever

You'll never be pushed into a plan you're not comfortable with. Our approach is collaborative and whole-person — the aim is to help you feel better and understand your own body, so you can take an active role in your recovery and long-term wellness.

A note on safety: This article is educational and general in nature. It isn't a diagnosis or a substitute for a professional evaluation. Stop any movement that causes pain, and check with Dr. Magdy Guirguis before starting a new program.
